The Chamber Ambassador Program is a membership outreach and retention program designed to involve and inform all Chamber members. Ambassadors are volunteers who, on behalf of the Chamber, make goodwill calls to encourage strong continuing membership and active support of Chamber programs.
Ambassadors assist in membership retention, program development, and information dissemination. As volunteers, Ambassadors are dedicated to improving the quality of life of the community through Chamber work.
There is also a great personal benefit returned from their service. Ambassadors gain knowledge of the community and the Chamber, develop personal relationships with business leaders, obtain an insider’s perspective on economic development activities, and expose their own business among other business partners.
Meet the 2019 Coffee Ambassadors: Kassidy Carter - Lakeside Senior Living, Leigh Cato - Hurst and Hurst, CPA, Shane Dilling - Allstate, Wade Huffman - General Coffee State Park, Kacey Morris - Pineland Bank, Deborah Winn-Smith - United Way of South Georgia, and Joe Sports - TenderCare.
Ambassadors serve a one year term from January 1 to December 31 of each year. They may serve an unlimited number of terms. The deadline to apply for the 2020 term is Friday, November 1, 2019. Applications will come available on September 1, 2019.
